This group is the most experienced group that we working with in Lugari, the volume of work that these guys are doing is quite incredible. The group advocates locally on issues related to HIV/AIDS whilst simultaneously running a feeding programme for orphaned and vulnerable children.

They also breed goats for sale and contribute with their own money to provide support and care for these children. So, there can be no doubting of Wema's commitment to support their community's lesser-off children; as well as running a host of activities, and giving up some of their resources in the process. Humbling stuff.

Taking children from the group on to our scholarship programme in 2010 as well as involving them in our sports and health programme, we look forward to continuing our work and growing together with Wema long into the future.
