WVP Kenya

We are a local NGO operating in four districts of Western Kenya. Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of children and youth affected by poverty and disease. To do this in the most comprehensive way, we work in partnership with local community based organisations and implement a number of health and life-opportunity enhancing activities with children in their catchment areas. These activities range from sports and health education, provision of scholarships and providing community groups with the social and financial resources to provide adequate care and support of vulnerable children. We also facilitate the building of basic infrastructure and engage local people in advocacy for healthy and sustainable living.
